Ground-up construction of an 83,500 SF steel-framed building at the Lake Washington Institute of Technology campus. The project implements sustainable design practices and incorporates strategies to reduce energy and water consumption and maximize recycled, locally manufactured and low-toxicity materials. The building has achieved a LEED Silver certification.
The new Allied Health Building contains classrooms for studies in Health Services, Nursing, Physical & Massage Therapy, Dental, and Morgue & Funeral Services. Additionally, medical labs, chemical labs, offices and support spaces for faculty and students were constructed.
Also, a 3,000 SF renovation of the East Building was completed, which included reorganizing classroom spaces and reconfiguring of the entry way from the existing East Building into the new Allied Health Building.
